2 John

Filed under: New Testament — Thomas @ 23:22

2 John is a very short, one chapter, letter expressing the same points as 1 John. We are to love one another and to avoid those who are spreading a message that Jesus did not come in the flesh. John warns Christians not to be hospitable to these people spreading falsehoods because to welcome them is to share in their wicked work. He closes the letter by expressing his desire to visit them in person “so that our joy may be complete” (v12).
