More Americans “Pro-Life” Than “Pro-Choice” for First Time in a while

A recent Gallup poll found that more Americans describe themselves as “Pro-Life” than “Pro-Choice” for the first time since they began asking the question in 1995. Of course there are many attempts to explain how this shift came about, especially in only one year.

2008 Pro-Life was 44% and Pro-Choice was 50%
2009 Pro-Life is 51% and Pro-Choice is 42%

That’s a pretty big swing over a one year period and I doubt that millions of people have suddenly changed their minds about this ever present issue. Surf over for the details of how those numbers came about and for more details.
