Claude Mariottini has a post listing all those works mentioned in the Old Testament that no longer exist. As he states, “If they had survived, we would know much more about the history of Israel and many of the questions we have about kings, wars, and other events probably would be answered and many doubts about the events of the past would disappear.” Obviously, they would have had many more written documents than these but of others we don’t even have the name.
